1. Sacred Space Principles

The Sacred Circle is an inclusive spiritual space for witches, pagans, Wiccans, and practitioners of all paths and identities. We are committed to maintaining an environment of:

  • Respect for all traditions and paths
  • Support for individual spiritual journeys
  • Protection of sacred knowledge and practices
  • Celebration of diversity and inclusivity in all forms
  • Creating a safe space for spiritual exploration and connection

2. Respect & Inclusion

2.1 Required Behavior

  • Honor and respect diverse spiritual paths within our community
  • Respect pronouns, gender expression, and all identities without exception
  • Support fellow practitioners regardless of their background, experience level, or tradition
  • Maintain confidentiality of shared experiences and sacred practices
  • Practice active listening and thoughtful engagement
  • Use content warnings when discussing potentially sensitive topics

2.2 Prohibited Behavior

  • Discrimination or hate speech based on race, orientation, religion, gender identity, or any other aspect of identity
  • Harassment of any kind, including unwelcome advances or intimidation
  • Cultural appropriation or misrepresentation of traditions
  • Unauthorized sharing of others' spiritual practices or personal experiences
  • Commercial solicitation without prior permission

3. Content Guidelines

3.1 Acceptable Content

  • Personal spiritual experiences and journey documentation
  • Respectful discussions of various traditions and practices
  • Educational material related to spiritual paths
  • Supportive community interaction and mentorship
  • Ritual and spell sharing (with proper credit and respect)
  • Creative expressions of spirituality (art, poetry, music)

3.2 Prohibited Content

  • Explicit sexual content
  • Harmful or dangerous practices that could cause physical or psychological harm
  • Hate speech or bigotry in any form
  • Unauthorized commercial content or excessive self-promotion
  • Content promoting illegal activities
  • Misinformation or content created using AI with the intent to misinform
  • Content that violates others' privacy or confidentiality

4. Zero Tolerance for Bullying

Bullying of any kind is strictly prohibited. Any user found engaging in bullying will be immediately removed from the platform without warning. We define bullying as deliberate, repeated behavior intended to harm, intimidate, or upset another person.

5. Zero Tolerance for Extremism and Hate

Ideologies that promote hate, exclusion, or extremism are strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to far-right extremism, fascism, white nationalism, and other authoritarian ideologies. Circles, covens, or temples associated with hate movements in any capacity are strictly forbidden. Violators will be removed from the platform immediately.

6. Community Circles and Groups

All community circles (covens, temples, and groups) must:

  • Clearly state their purpose and guidelines
  • Maintain respectful discourse among members
  • Moderate their own spaces according to these community-wide guidelines
  • Report serious violations to platform moderators
  • Respect the privacy settings and boundaries of members

7. Privacy and Consent

  • Always seek explicit consent before sharing someone else's content or experiences
  • Respect privacy settings and visibility preferences of other users
  • Do not share screenshots or content from the app on external platforms
  • Do not pressure others to share personal information or spiritual practices
  • Report privacy violations promptly

8. Advertising and Vendor Guidelines

Practitioners, circles, or organizations that wish to share professional offerings must:

  • Request approval by contacting Charlie@littleguydev.com
  • Clearly identify commercial content as such
  • Limit promotional posts to appropriate contexts
  • Provide value to the community beyond self-promotion
  • Respect community guidelines in all promotional activities

9. Reporting and Appeals

Users can report concerning content or behavior through:

  • The in-app appeals process
  • Our community Discord server
  • Direct email to our moderation team

10. Moderation Transparency

How We Moderate

  • Content is initially screened using automated tools to identify potential violations
  • Human moderators review flagged content and user reports
  • We use a combination of user reports, AI-assisted detection, and proactive review
  • Multiple moderators may review sensitive or complex cases
  • We maintain confidentiality throughout the moderation process

Our Process

  1. Content is flagged (automatically or by users)
  2. Human moderators review the content in context
  3. Moderators make decisions based on our guidelines
  4. Users are notified of moderation actions when appropriate
  5. Appeals are considered by a different moderator than the original reviewer

11. Education and Growth

The Sacred Circle encourages:

  • Workshops and educational resources through our Codex
  • Respectful discussions that promote understanding
  • Sharing knowledge while respecting tradition-specific boundaries
  • Mentorship between experienced and new practitioners
  • Community events that foster learning and connection

12. Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates these guidelines
  • Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
  • Issue warnings for minor infractions
  • Immediately remove users for serious violations (bullying, hate speech, extremism)
  • Take any necessary action to protect our community's safety and integrity
  • Preserve evidence of serious violations when legally required

  • Mentorship across experience levels and traditions
  • Sharing knowledge in respectful and appropriate ways
  • Building supportive relationships and connections
  • Celebrating diverse spiritual paths and practices
  • Contributing to our collective wisdom through the Codex

14. Updates to Guidelines

These guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect community needs and evolving standards. Users will be notified of significant changes and must accept the updated guidelines upon login to continue using the platform.
