• How do I get started with The Sacred Circle?

  After downloading The Sacred Circle from the App Store, you'll be guided through a simple setup process that includes creating your account and customizing your profile. You can then start exploring the app's features, beginning with setting up your Book of Shadows categories and exploring the Codex Arcana for resources. We recommend starting with the Daily Insights feature to receive personalized spiritual prompts based on your interests.

• Is my personal Book of Shadows private?

  Yes, your Book of Shadows is completely private by default. Only you can access your entries unless you explicitly choose to share specific content. The Sacred Circle is built with privacy as a core value, and we understand the sensitive nature of spiritual practices. You have full control over what you share and with whom through our granular privacy settings.

• How do I connect with other practitioners?

  The Fellowship Circle and Practitioner Discovery features are designed to help you connect with like-minded individuals. To find others, tap on the "Discover" tab and browse profiles filtered by tradition, interests, or location. You can follow practitioners to see their public posts in your feed and send connection requests. Once connected, you can share experiences, exchange messages, and engage with each other's content through comments and likes.

• Can I contribute to the Codex Arcana?

  Absolutely! The Codex Arcana is a community-driven repository, and your contributions are welcome. To add a new entry, navigate to the Codex tab, tap the "+" button, and select "Add New Entry." You can create detailed entries with text, images, correspondences, and tags. All submissions go through a light moderation process to ensure quality and respect for traditions before becoming visible to the wider community.

• How do I customize my Daily Spiritual Insights?

  To personalize your Daily Spiritual Insights, go to Settings → Preferences → Daily Insights. Here you can select which traditions, practices, and interests you'd like to receive prompts for. You can also set notification preferences and specify the time of day you'd like to receive your insights. The more information you provide about your spiritual path, the more tailored your daily prompts will be.

• Is The Sacred Circle available for Android devices?

  Currently, The Sacred Circle is only available for iOS devices. As a solo developer project, we've focused our initial release on providing the best possible experience for iOS users. However, an Android version is in development and is expected to be released in late 2025. You can sign up on our website to be notified when the Android version becomes available.

• How secure is my data in The Sacred Circle?

  Your data security is a top priority. The Sacred Circle uses industry-standard encryption for both stored data and data in transit. Your personal information and spiritual content are protected with end-to-end encryption, and we follow best practices for security. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. For more detailed information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

• How do I back up my Book of Shadows?

  The Sacred Circle automatically backs up your data to secure cloud storage when your device is connected to Wi-Fi. For additional peace of mind, you can manually create a backup by going to Settings → Data → Backup Now. You can also export your Book of Shadows entries as PDF files for personal archiving by selecting the entries you wish to export and tapping the export icon in the top right corner.

• What if I find content that's disrespectful to a tradition?

  Respect for all spiritual traditions is fundamental to The Sacred Circle community. If you encounter content that you believe is disrespectful or inappropriate, please use the "Report" function by tapping the three dots in the corner of any post or entry and selecting "Report." Our moderation team will review the content promptly. We take all reports seriously and are committed to maintaining a respectful environment for all traditions.

• When will the upcoming features be released?

  As a solo developer project, our feature rollout is carefully paced to ensure quality. The Sacred Circles local group feature is planned for release in mid-2025, followed by the Mentorship Program in late 2025. Enhanced Ritual Planning and Advanced Divination Tools are scheduled for early 2026. We regularly release smaller updates and improvements based on user feedback. Follow our social media channels or enable notifications in the app to stay updated on new releases.
